The Project
At Pop Clutch, I engaged in a meticulous creative process for the HULU Original series, Faraway Downs. My primary focus was the development of sophisticated and enduring styleframes. To achieve this, I embarked on a journey to capture the essence of the series, carefully aligning with the visual design aesthetics prevalent in the early 1940s.
However, my approach extended beyond aesthetics. It became evident that the narrative of Faraway Downs was deeply rooted in cultural appreciation and fusion. In response, I incorporated rare indigenous wood varieties, drew inspiration from 1940s Western outback design motifs, and integrated elements of Aboriginal artwork into the styleframes.
The culmination of this effort yielded a diverse range of styleframes that seamlessly transcended various media formats, suitable for broadcast, digital, and social placements. My objective was to ensure that the styleframes not only exhibited visual excellence but also resonated with the profound cultural themes at the core of Faraway Downs.
